Ocean County Commissioner Robert Arace has assumed his role as liaison to several departments and committees, focusing on enhancing service delivery and fostering innovation. His responsibilities include oversight of the Consumer Affairs Department, Office of the Fire Marshal, Parks & Recreation Department, and others.

"Each of these departments plays an essential role in improving the quality of life for Ocean County residents," said Commissioner Arace. He aims to ensure resources are available and will focus on collaboration and listening to residents' needs.

Arace plans regular public forums to gather input from residents. He is committed to addressing operational challenges with department heads and implementing innovative solutions.

His priorities include supporting veterans through the Veterans Service Bureau and ensuring seniors have access to essential programs via the Office of Senior Services. Environmental preservation is also a focus through his role with the Natural Lands Trust Fund Advisory Committee.

"Together with my colleagues on the Board of Commissioners, I am excited to build on Ocean County's strong foundation while introducing fresh perspectives to these critical areas," Commissioner Arace said.

Residents can contact his office for updates or share input at (732) 929-2116 or visit the Ocean County website.
