Census Bureau: 75.5% of people in Ocean County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 630,057 citizens living in Ocean County in 2021, 75.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 475,570 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 226,981 were male, constituting 47.7%, and 248,589 were female, making up 52.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Ocean County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
