Join well-known historian, Rick Geffken, as he discusses his fifth and newest book, Stories of Slavery in New Jersey. This book reveals New Jersey's dark history of slavery, including information and stories which were previously unknown.

Rick Geffken has authored five books, as well as numerous articles on New Jersey history for local newspapers, magazines, and historical societies, and has appeared on the New Jersey Cable TV show, called “Family Historian.” He is a trustee of the Shrewsberry Historical Society, past president and trustee of the New Jersey Coast Heritage Museum at Sandlass House, and a member of the Monmouth County Historical Association.
