Gioachino Rossini, an Italian composer had the first documented mention of " Friday the 13th, "in a biography about his life, Friday the 13th being the day which Rossini died.
A 1907 book, Friday the Thirteenth, by American businessman Thomas Lawson, may have further carried on the myths.
