Learn To Solve A Crime

LEARN TO SOLVE A CRIME:

There will be a brief review and drill using the Pythagorean Theorem and how it applies to solving for blood splatter and for bullet trajectory, as well as Newton’s Laws of Motion.  Fingerprinting background and origin will be covered.  You will learn how to identify and collect fingerprints.  Drills for odontology, and shoe print analysis will also be covered.  You will learn about footprint and foot strike and will cast a footprint.  DNA is briefly covered and how it is sometimes used to solve cold cases.  Time of Death topics and drills will also be covered, and why it is so important.  In the end you will work as a team to collect evidence and process a mock crime scene. (Mothers/daughters, Fathers/sons, Grandparent/grandchild all welcome to make a team). 

AGE: 16 – Adult

*Class is taught by current and/or recently retired police detectives.
