OCHD REPORTS 636 NEW POSITIVE COVID CASES FOR THE WEEK
The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) is reporting 636 new confirmed positive COVID cases in Ocean County from August 18, 2022 to August 24, 2022.
The new cases bring the cumulative number of individuals who have tested positive to 153,964 - including those residents who were re-infected. The total number of residents infected only once – or non-duplicated – is 146,788 (Figures reflect the total cases between the Ocean County and Long Beach Island Health Departments).
Additionally, there have been 2,914 total deaths reported since the start of the pandemic in Ocean County.
