The Ocean County Library is pleased to announce that it will host Painting and Pours: My Return to Art, a month-long exhibit by Jenna M. Yurga.

The collection, which will be displayed in the Toms River Branch’s McConnell Gallery during July, consists of abstract paintings primarily created using acrylic pour techniques.

Jenna Meyerberg-Yurga is proud to be sharing her very first gallery exhibit with the Toms River Branch. Although she began painting as a child, she lost touch with the art form for many years. Jenna rediscovered her love for painting after the birth of her second son when she joined Harris Art Academy in Howell. This collection, "Paintings and Pours: My Return to Art" is her first set of paintings since becoming an art student, and highlights her experimentation with acrylics. Jenna has her PhD in Mental Health Counseling, and when she is not playing with her sons Owen and Henry, she is a private practice therapist in downtown Toms River. Jenna enjoys sharing both her passion for helping others and her artwork with the Toms River community, and hopes you enjoy her collection!
