Ocean County Leader

Of the 2,460 people living in New Egypt in 2019, 51.5 percent (1,266) were women and 48.5 percent (1,194) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Ocean County Leader.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 797-to-743. In the 65 and over age range, there were 254 females and 166 males.
