Cost of college went up for all students at Georgian Court University

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at Georgian Court University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Jersey students paid $32,976 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $716 more than the $32,260 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 216 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.4 million and 181 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,458), 1,323 students used grants or scholarships totaling $27.3 million, and 1,022 students took out $7.5 million in federal student loans.
