2026 on-street parking passes are now available for purchase in Seaside Heights. Residents and visitors can buy passes for motor vehicles, golf carts, and motorcycles. The cost is $300 for a non-transferable decal or sticker for a single vehicle, while a transferable hang tag costs $500.

Passes can be obtained at the George E. Tompkins Municipal Complex, Building B, located at 100 Grant Ave., Seaside Heights, NJ. The office operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, closing for lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Accepted payment methods include cash, checks, and credit cards. There is a $30 fee for bounced checks, which also results in cancellation of any purchased parking passes.

The parking passes permit holders to park at any metered space within the Borough of Seaside Heights except for certain areas. These exceptions include the municipal lot on Grant Avenue (on the south side of Breakwater Beach Water Park between Ocean Terrace and the Boulevard), Ocean Terrace, and street ends next to the Boardwalk.

Starting April 1, 2026, new rules will apply to drivers with handicap placards or license plates under Ordinance No. 2025-31. According to the ordinance: “A driver with a placard or handicap license plate must pay the appropriate amount of money in the kiosk. If the vehicle will occupy the parking space for more than the maximum amount of time permitted by the kiosk, the driver must pay the maximum.”
