On Saturday, March 8, former Toms River North High School standout Sam Angelo’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stanford Cardinals.
The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against Stanford Cardinals.
