On Saturday, Feb. 22, former New Egypt High School standout Michaela Weber’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Canisius Golden Griffins.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Golden Griffins this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
