On Friday, March 7, former Point Pleasant Beach High School standout Bryan Matuschat’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, lost 21-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.

The game took place at E. T. Straw Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at E. T. Straw Family Stadium against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
