Muhlenberg tops Southwestern 12-10 in Division III baseball as former Toms River North star pitches

Former Toms River North High School standout Kieran Mulholland contributed as his current college team, the Muhlenberg Mules, secured a 12-10 victory over the Southwestern Pirates in their NCAA Division III baseball contest on Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m.

The contest, played at Rockwell Family Field, marked the teams’ third meeting this season. The Mules had previously lost to the Pirates 6-5 in a game held on Friday, March 13.

Mulholland pitched two innings, giving up two earned runs and tallying three walks and one strikeout.

Muhlenberg’s next competition is set for Tuesday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. at Bicentennial Park, where the team faces the Albright Lions.
