On Friday, Feb. 28, former Jackson Memorial High School standout Zach Crotchfelt’s current college team, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Las Vegas Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Red Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at Las Vegas Ballpark against Texas Longhorns.
