Former Jackson Memorial High School standout Ahmir Cournier played on Thursday, May 15 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Jackson Memorial High School standout Ahmir Cournier’s current collegiate team the Lynn Fighting Knights won 9-13 against the Mississippi Choctaws in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 5 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Mississippi Choctaws in the tournament.

The Lynn Fighting Knights’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
