Reported prices for premium gas in Ocean County averaged $3.63 per gallon.
GasBuddy reports show that premium gas was available at 65 of the 142 reported gas stations in Ocean County.
Across New Jersey, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas fell to $3.65, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
