On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Point Pleasant Beach High School standout Bryan Matuschat’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgetown Hoyas.
The game took place at Capital One Park. This was their third matchup against the Hoyas this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium against Navy Midshipmen.
