On Saturday, April 12, former Point Pleasant Beach High School standout Bryan Matuschat’s current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Canisius Golden Griffins.

The game took place at Veterans Park. This was their second matchup against the Golden Griffins this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Veterans Park against Canisius Golden Griffins.
