On Friday, March 6, the Chicago Maroons—featuring former Jackson Memorial High School standout Amber Williams—secured a 60-44 victory over the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at Williams Center at 4:45 p.m. It marked the first tournament meeting between the Maroons and the Golden Gusties.
The Maroons are scheduled to play their next tournament game Saturday, March 7, at 7:15 p.m. at Williams Center.
