On Wednesday, April 16, former Toms River East High School standouts Akkash Santiago and Elijah Santiago’s current college team, the Caldwell Cougars, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgian Court Lions.

The game took place at Municipal Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Municipal Stadium against Georgian Court Lions.
